As cyber threats continue to evolve, and as follow up to the cyber security discussion at our last Nav/Ops meeting, MASC member Avalon Risk Management has made available to the association their Shield Network Scan. The scan reviews your networks to find vulnerable areas that could allow hackers to access or manipulate your data or network. Normal 3rd party scans average in excess of $700, but Avalon has extended the MASC a rate of $350 per scan.
Avalon Risk is also working with CNA, an AM Best A (Excellent) rated insurer, to offer the MASC their NetProtect 360 Cyber Insurance and Security Program.
