A LETTER FROM
THE COLLEGE PARK MIDDLE
SCHOOL VEX ROBOTICS TEAM
Dear Sir or Madam,
We are writing on behalf of the College Park Middle School VEX Robotics Team. Our team has spent more than 100 hours working together on team building skills, researching and developing a robot design, robot programming, hosting community events, and participating in competitions against other teams in the state.
We are proud to say that on December 2, 2017, at the Berkeley Qualifier Robotics Competition, our team won the Middle School Excellence Award for the best engineering notebook, documentation and interview as well as strong competitive skills throughout the competition. This is the highest award given at an event. This award advances our team to the state competition in Irmo, SC on March 10th and the CREATE US Open in Council Bluffs, Iowa on April 4th. We are thrilled to have earned this opportunity, but will need support to achieve our goal.
We are looking for sponsors to help our team get to the competitions. Fees and expenses associated with our participation include an entrance fee, transportation, lodging, meals and presentation materials. Any and all donations are greatly appreciated and will contribute greatly to the educational experience available to these amazing young students. As a 501(3)c organization; any and all donations are tax deductible.
All sponsors' logos will be included on the team's competition t-shirt. Our sponsors will also be credited on our school website and in our school newsletter.
Should you have questions or if you are able to contribute to this educational endeavor, please contact our head coach, Ms. Lisa Muggeo through email at MuggeoL@bcsdschools.net or by phone (843) 553-8300. Checks should be made payable to College Park Middle with “VEX Robotics” in the memo field.
Thank you in advance for your time and consideration of our request. We are very grateful for any contribution you may be able to make towards our robotics team. Follow our team progress @CPMRobotics on Twitter.
