On March 19, 2018, a Final Rule was published amending the monetary property damage threshold amounts for reporting a marine casualty from $25,000 to $75,000 and monetary threshold for a “serious marine incident” from $100,000 to $200,000 found in 46 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 4.
As of today, April 18, 2018, the new amounts are in effect.
