August 3-4 | Patriots Point
, Patriots Point Naval and Maritime Museum is hosting a Birthday Celebration for the US Coast Guard to show our community’s appreciation for all they do to protect and preserve our state’s ports, coasts and waterways. Events include a Coast Guard Symposium “USCG Icarus: The Sinking of German Submarine U-352” on Friday, August 3 at 7 PM onboard the USS Yorktown, featuring panelists from the Coast Guard and NOAA. On Saturday, August 4, Patriots Point will host a Birthday Celebration featuring free admission to the Museum for Coast Guard families, as well as free food, drinks, music, and children’s area. Our USCG Sector Charleston friends are so pleased to be honored and recognized in this way, and we anticipate attendance of over 500 at this event.
The USS Yorktown Foundation, the designated 501(c)3 fundraising organization for Patriots Point Naval and Maritime Museum, is reaching out to members of the maritime community to assist Patriots Point in covering the costs of the event as an Event Sponsor. For a $500 commitment to the Foundation, your business will be included in all advertising and promotional materials, press releases and social media, as well as signage at the event. We view this sponsorship as an opportunity for all of us that depend on the Coast Guard to show our appreciation for all they do to support and protect our community and our businesses. If you are interested in supporting the Coast Guard Birthday Celebration at Patriots Point, please contact Allison Hunt, email@example.com, at your earliest convenience so your business can be included in all of the promotional materials.
