Can you assist Wounded Nature – Working Veterans? This Saturday March 18 we will be moving 1,000 oyster reef bags from Remley Point Boat Ramp over to Drum Island and several tons of debris from the Cooper River side of Daniel Island to the boat ramp where we will have a dumpster.
Does your company have a work skiff and driver who can participate? We are short on boats this weekend. We are starting at 10 am and should be done by 1pm. We are working with the low tide.
If you have employees who are interested in either laying the oyster reef on Drum or cleaning up the marsh on Daniel Island. Charleston Water Taxi is participating and moving people for us. Yes it may rain and make this a memorable outing for everyone participating but the cleanup and reef laying will happen regardless of weather. We have enough hardy volunteers to get both jobs done.
