SuperGreen Solutions is the premier advisor, supplier, and installer of domestic and commercial energy efficient products and solutions. Our mission is to inspire, educate, and assist our partners in their goals of enhancing environmental stewardship and reducing carbon footprints. Through increased energy efficiency and renewable energy generation, we help our client’s save green by going green.
We handle everything from LED lighting, to smart technology for your HVACs, to energy management systems that can control just about everything, plus many renewable energy solutions such as solar.
What regions do you serve?
We are a locally owned small business based here in Charleston but part of a much larger global organization that is SuperGreen Solutions. We serve mainly the Carolinas; however, we can go wherever needed.
What might surprise me about SuperGreen Solutions?
Opening here in the Lowcountry is no accident. Due to Charleston’s aging commercial and industrial facilities, the opportunities for energy efficiency upgrades are vast. Most warehouses are still using outdated metal halide lighting technology. A typical example is that we can replace a 400 Watt metal halide with a 150 Watt LED fixture that uses less than half the electricity, lasts 20 times longer, eliminates maintenance which vastly improves lighting quality and safety. Most of warehouse lighting projects have a 1 to 2 year payback!
What are some of SuperGreen Solutions’ proudest accomplishments?
More and more businesses are beginning to realize that operating in a sustainable manner is both good for their image and good for business. We strongly believe it is a social responsibility. Our projects not only help the bottom line, they help the environment and that makes us proud of what we do every day. And we are very proud to support the thriving maritime industry here in Charleston. We feel we are a great asset to help our clients meet their sustainability goals. To date, SuperGreen Solutions has helped Maritime Association members complete over a dozen projects!
Other non-maritime projects that we are proud of include installing the only commercial solar system on all of Berkeley Electric Co-Op’s grid for one of our favorite nonprofits, Habitat for Humanity of Berkeley County - ReStore. We also completed a LED lighting retrofit inside and out. We are also the go-to energy partner for the Town of Summerville. We upgraded Gahagan Park’s ball fields, the Police station, and their Fleet Services warehouse to LED. On the supply side, we are proud to have supplied LED lighting to government entities such as The U.S. Army (Camp Lejeune), Berkeley County School District, and Clemson University.
