CHARLESTON HARBOR, ASHLEY RIVER NAVIGATION ALERT

CHARLESTON, SC

A steel work boat capsized and sank in the south eastern portion of the Charleston Harbor at position 32-46.020N 079-55.292W. The responsible party is actively coordinating salvage efforts. Heavy equipment is currently, and will remain, on scene until salvage efforts are complete. Mariners are advised to stay clear of the area.
